    I am 72 yrs old,I receive £12,000 per yr pension including my old age pension,how much tax should I pay on this,and what allowances am I entitled to.

    I was a commercial director on £64000.00 pa and was taking home approx £3591.00 per month, I was also in the company pension scheme which was 2.5% paid by my employer and 2.5% paid by myself.

    I was dismissed on 29th October 2012 and my November pay packet with a gross payment including holiday pay amounting to £1896.16 I paid negative £84.43 in PAYE tax and NI of £1061.80.

    My tax code is 810l is this correct.
